Graduate Record Examinations (GRE)
The GRE is composed of sections.
- Verbal Reasoning — Measures ability to analyze and evaluate written material and synthesize information obtained from it, analyze relationships among component parts of sentences and recognize relationships among words and concepts.
- Quantitative Reasoning — Measures problem-solving ability, focusing on basic concepts of arithmetic, algebra, geometry and data analysis.
- Analytical Writing — Measures critical thinking and analytical writing skills, specifically the test taker’s ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
Tutorial sessions are individualized and private. Previous exam scores should be submitted (if applicable) during enrollment at Academic Advantage Tutoring in order to create a program that will help you succeed. For students who have not previously taken the GRE, a required diagnostic GRE will be administered.
